Fiat 500 Windscreen Wiper Problem

I purchased a new Fiat 500 Pop Bicolour at the end of May, 2011. Since owning the vehicle I have noticed that if the Windscreen Wipers haven't been used for a while, or if there is not much rain on the windscree, the big blade, on the driver's side, drags noisely accross the windscreen, and sometimes gets temporarilly stuck - so much so that the small blade, on the passenger side, almost catches it up, and the two blades are in danger of getting caught up. This is very annoying, and I am concerned about the wipers becoming damaged, or the motor burning itself out.

The blade may need twisting slightly to the right angle.
