Buying a Berlingo based motorhome

Should I buy the old, 31,000 mile Berlingo Motorhome I have found? The vehicle has had little or no servicing carried out in the last 8 years.

Should I have a full 10 year service carried out, cam belt replaced, rubber seals replaced, brake fluid change, bearings checked, tyres replaced etc. before purchasing? The vehicle looks in very good condition.

I have no idea what a Beringo Motor Home is. But generally these vehicles are built on commercial van chassis which are designed to do 200,000 miles in 5 years then be scrapped. Instead they often do less than 5,000 miles a year and spend the rest of the time mouldering and rusting in someone's driveway, yet they still command extraordinarily high prices. I cannot begin to understand why. Perhaps it's to do with buying a dream.
