Why do the car sizes in reviews vary so much?

What is the meaning of the different lengths and widths in the data for any given car?

The lengths and widths given in our reviews are based on the data supplied by the manufacturers, and provides the minimum and maximum dimensions across the entire range. Individual trims of the same vehicle can have varying lengths, usually due to different bumpers, while the widths account for the fact that manufacturers give dimensions including and excluding door mirrors, as well as in some cases the width with the door mirrors folded.
