I received a fine because the expiry date on my Blue Badge wasn't visible - should I appeal?

What is the chance of a successful appeal to The Independent Appeals Service if I have displayed my Blue Badge but the expiry date was not visible?

Technically it is your responsibility to display your Blue Badge properly, but this doesn't mean it isn't worth an appeal. It will be entirely down to the authority as to whether or not to let you off, but you should at the very least ask for photographic evidence to show your badge wasn't correctly displayed. If they are unable to produce this then any fine would be unenforceable.
