Does the 2011-2017 Kia Picanto have a torque converter gearbox?

I am looking at buying a small automatic that has a good reliable gearbox and decent all round reliability. I currently own a 2015 Honda Civic SR high spec vehicle in excellent condition with just 29,000 miles. I am used to the excellent torque convertor gearbox in the Honda.

I am considering the Kia Picanto. I notice from some of the other questions that have been asked about small autos that the Picanto gets quite a few mentions stating that it has a good torque convertor gearbox. Looking at the models, it appears that the model from 2017 onwards has the torque convertor gearbox. Does the previous Picanto from 2011 to 2017 have the torque convertor gearbox? Car prices still seem over inflated, where is the best place to source a Picanto at a reasonable price?

Also, I will need to sell my car before purchasing the replacement.

Ideally, I don't want to pay more that £6,500.

The 2011-2017 Kia Picanto does have a torque converter gearbox, however it only has four speeds and isn't regarded as a particularly great gearbox, with long ratios and a noticeable drop in performance and fuel efficiency over the manual. We'd check out AutoTrader or heycar's websites when looking for a new car, while most dealers offer a trade-in service to let you sell them the old car. You can get an idea of what your car is worth by looking at WeBuyAnyCar or Carwow, who will offer you a price.
