Will LPG be phased out?

What has happened to the Autogas/LPG in this country? I used to convert my new car to Autogas since 2000 but looking at number of garages selling the fuel seems to be falling. It was a good cheap fuel and a sad loss.

Unfortunately, LPG seems to be going through a bit of a reverse chicken-and-egg scenario. The number of cars on the road that run LPG has reduced, while at the same time the number of garages selling it has fallen. A decrease in demand means less revenue for fuel stations and no incentive to continue investing in stocking LPG. It's expected LPG will be phased out entirely in the next couple of years as fuel station owners investing in EV charging points instead.
