What tyres do you recommend for a Volkswagen Tiguan?

I am due to replace my tyres on Volkswagen Tiguan 4Motion. The car is a sport version and I find the ride quite hard. What softer tyres can I put on the 18-inch rims, bearing in mind it is an SUV?

We don't know what tyres you have on your car right now, but before replacing them check that your tyre pressures aren't too high and match up with the recommended pressures for the car. A tyre pumped too high will spoil the ride. If that doesn't work, we'd look at putting on some All-Season tyres such as Pirelli Cinturato SF2, Goodyear Vector 4Seasons or Michelin CrossClimate 2 tyres as they are generally more comfortable and better in wet/snowy conditions.
