Does the Hyundai ix35 1.7 CRDi have clutch problems?

I am on the verge of buying a new Hyundai ix35 1.7 CRDi (thank you for your helpful review by the way), but am being put off by a number of online comments I have recently come across to the effect that the ix35 has problems with the clutch sticking, especially in queueing/stop-start traffic.

Are you aware of this and do you believe it to be a widespread issue? Would you recommend the 1.6 petrol instead?
