Audi A3 rear windscreen wiper

I have recently bought an Audi A3 and the rear windscreen wiper will not stop. I have unplugged it at the moment, but what is causing this?

Probably moisture ingress to the motor creating an open circuit. Can be caused by the pipe to the rear screenwash popping off inside the rear hatchback frame. For the ESP problem: www.ECUtesting.co.uk or www.sinspeed.co.uk
