The Shining

I would appreciate advice on maintenance of new car bodywork/what product(s)would you recommend to build up a barrier on paintwork to help withstand chips/weather etc. How best to apply and how often?
Lastly, is there any particular product you would recommend for cleaning cloth upholstery (my Saxo).

www.glareuk.com . Costs £500, but is professionally applied, lasts 10 years and passed the Tim Shaw destruction test on 5th Gear.
