Much sport after

I do 70 mile daily commute on the M5 so low gearing discounts the Civic Type R for me. What about the Honda Civic 2.2 turbo diesel? I read about it on your website, so I drove it today and really liked it; but I only do 15,000 miles a year so not sure if a diesel is for me.

Honda does do a 'Type S' of the 2.2 diesel. Sort of fake sporty, but it
actually works surprisingly well, having the looks of a Type R but the
economy and cruising ability of the 2.2iCDTI. (A.F. e-mailed back a few days later to tell me she had bought one.)
