Ex-Audi

I was very pleased to read your road test on the SEAT Exeo, which was encouraging not least for the fact that I have recently placed an order for an Exeo ST. Other reviews I've read have been somewhat downbeat. Is it because this old model Audi A4 based car has lost its rings, and is there a certain amount of snobbery attached to the motoring press? I think the Exeo offers good value for money and is brimming with useful goodies. Just one thing, though, I do actually find it quite attractive and pleasing on the eye. One mans poison is another man's meat, don't they say?

I think you'll be very happy with it. Extremely comfortable on long runs. I've just completed 1,100 miles in a week at 49-50mpg on the indicator and 48mpg checking brim to brim. And I think SEAT's miles are longer miles than most manufacturers because a journey that normally registers 300 miles showed as 292. The other reviews are downbeat because of its looks and because it's really an A4 B7 with the new engine.
