Barcelona books

I am having trouble sourcing an Owners Manual for my 1984 Mercedes 280SL (W107). I have trawled the internet and eBay without success. Thousands of these cars were made over many years. Why can't I find an owners manual? My car was a German import when new and came with the books in German.
