Oars chestnut

What should I buy? I need enough room for a pair of oars and outboard engine. Good fuel economy. Ability to tow 2 laser dinghies. Lowish road tax. Cruise at 80, i.e., not a slug for its weight. 3 or 5 doors. Drop back seats to take engine and oars. Cheap to service or long intervals. Not expensive parts. Will last for 9 years or 100,000 miles. Have 1996P Astra estate with 113,000. Or do I carry on with Astra?
