Will using T-Cut help prevent rust?

The at-fault third party who damaged my car has agreed to pay for the repairs privately, no insurance company involved. The local repairer can't do the work until the end of January.
Should I T-Cut what I can in the meantime, to help prevent rust? Thanks.

T-Cut is for repairing light scratches to paintwork. If the accident damage has exposed bare metal, it won't be able to help. Try to find a garage that can repair the damage sooner rather than later.
