Of particulate interest

Do you have any idea where I might lay my hands on some documentary evidence that the injectors may be the cause of my diesel particulate filter problems? (Google has yet to be my friend on this one.) Ford has said categorically that they won't be, but having worked in the motor industry (for GM years ago) I know the games that customer service people play. They will expect me to just lie down and be quiet after a while. If I can go back to them with something in black and white then they will have to listen to me.

Anything that chucks an excessive amount of unburned hydrocarbons into a DPF can destroy it. Just as misfires on petrol cars destroy catalytic converters.
