Fiestering sore

My daughter bought a brand-new Ford Fiesta 5 weeks ago and has had to call the AA out 3 times because it wouldn't start. All three patrolmen have said it's got a major drain somewhere. The car has been in the garage for the past 2 weeks and they say car starts every time for them and they can't fault it. I have told dealer, manufacturer and finance company in writing that I don't want it back and have quoted "sale of goods act" but am getting nowhere with either. I would appreciate any advice.

Try switching off the radio before you switch off the ignition. That might actually solve it. If the car has an interior light delay, switch the light off altogether. Make sure the boot light goes out when you close the boot. If you can’t, disable the boot light by its switch or by removing the bulb. If none of that solves the problem, have the dealer install a www.batterybrain.co.uk . Costs about £60 and stops the leakdown at source.
