I put a small amount of petrol in a full tank of diesel - will it be okay to drive?

Will my diesel-engined car be okay with a small amount of petrol in a full tank of diesel?

I wouldn't recommend driving a diesel car with any petrol in the fuel tank. Diesel engines use the fuel, in part, to lubricate the components - adding petrol could dissolve this part of the fuel, significantly increasing the risk of wear and tear. Personally, I would pay for the tank to be drained and the fuel system cleaned before using the car again.
