Buying a leased car

I am about to enter negotiations with Masterlease as I'm hoping to buy the vehicle i've had on personal lease for the past 2 years but I don't know what to offer or how 'cheeky' I can be? They're offer to me to buy it last month £12,850.The car has to go back in 2 weeks if I don't buy it.

The vehicle is a Saab 9-3 Diesel Sportwagon 150 Linear SE 5dr. It has only done 11k miles. I like the car and if I can get it cheap enough it will save me the bother of finding something else.

I know if I can't buy it it will go straight to auction and I could buy it there at around CAP price. Any help of CAP price on it or tips on the negotiation would be greatly appreciated. I would prefer you didn't add this to your Telegraph page as it might 'tip them off' that I'm keen to buy.

Assuming it's a 2008/58, trade is £10,425 with 27k miles + £525 for the low miles = £10,950.

But I'd be very wary. This engine can be a disaster zone:
