Pick-ups and Light Commercial Vehicles

Good: Reliable and feels good quality, car-like interior, was the fastest pick-up in its class, useful rear hinged rear doors on crew cab.
Bad: Bigger than L200 and doesn't handle as well.

Good: Very refined and car-like to drive, upmarket cabin, durable and well built, smooth common-rail TDI engine, available as a Shuttle which seats up to nine, ESP stability control as standard.
Bad: Not quite as many variations available as there are with the Ford Transit.

Good: One of the best handling pickups, extremely tough running gear, long tyre life.
Bad: Small load bed on double cab but overcome with long bed version from May 2009, 2.5 DI-D still belt cam, interior not as good as a Nissan Navara.

Good: Huge variety of bodystyles and conversions. Robust and strong build quality. Smart, practical, well thought out cabin.

Good: Tough workhorse, excellent tow vehicle, tailgate drops lower than others, compatible with digital tachographs from 2007, good value.
Bad: Originally less refined than many contemporary pick-ups but much improved from 2007 facelift.

Good: Rugged and very reliable pick-up that's also good to drive, good quality interior.
Bad: Not quite as good as the Nissan Navara for refinement.

Good: Huge load bay. Twin sliding side doors. Good security features. Handles well for a van.
Bad: Looks expensive next to its competition.

Good: Better to drive than previous Ranger. Capable of seriously hard graft even by pick-up standards.
Bad: Still slightly off the pace for comfort and refinement.

Good: A seriously strong and capable work behicle, much better to drive than previous B-Series pick-up, further improved with 2008 facelift.
Bad: Not as refined or comfortable as its contemporary rivals.
