Pretty good all round

I chose this model as I had a Mk 3 golf estate for years and it cost me nothing. I chose the bluemotion due to the extra MPG. So far I am a bit disappointed that I am getting only the same consumption as my 17 year old Mk3 golf 1.9tdi despite careful driving. The onboard computer says 60mpg but I only get 57mpg. My only real gripe is the lower clearance which can be a problem in my job on gravel roads. Also, the suspension is a little harsh. Considering a change for a Qashqai for this reason.
