Amazing old Golf Tdi

I bought this Golf for my daughter in 2019 with 145,000 miles on it , she has now given it back to me in 2022 to sell as she wants a bigger car now a second child is on the way. It now has 170,000 miles on it and in the past 3 years all that needed replacing was the alternator. Today I drove it 40 miles across the cotswolds and was amazed to get 63mpg and the average over the past 2500 miles is showing 57mpg ! .
It starts and stops well , the seats are still holding up and the only sign of wear is on the drivers inside door handle. So if you are looking for a cheap to run old car you won't go far wrong with one of these.
