Sophistication in excess
From the moment you sit in the drivers seat you know that this car will not dissappoint. The ride and handling are superb, you would not know that this is a convertible, long gone are the shakes, rattle and rolls of a modified saloon. On a recent run from western France back to Manchester via the channel tunnel we achieved 670 miles driving in 11hours on the road. Sitting on the train was a welcome break mid journey. The car returned a commendable 52.5mpg And that whilst maintaining the legal speed limit most of the time 130kph (82mph) in France and 70mph in England. Quite a change from the old Volvo C70.
