Wonderful

I wanted to upgrade from my lovely Golf 1.5 r-line and ideally wanted a 2 litre auto petrol.
This basically left me with Audi or a BMW X1,given that I’m not about to risk being stranded in bad weather with rear wheel drive.
My car was a bargain. Due to the new model having just been released. Had to buy without a test drive due to lockdown and was concerned over so many reviewers warning against ‘s-line’ suspension.
I needn’t have worried, maybe the lower spec models ride better with non sport suspension and smaller wheels, Mine are 19” but I have to say that I was mightily relieved at the ride quality.
,one has the tech pack, which I heartily recommend given the beautiful virtual display and ability to use my finger to draw the destinations or phone I want. You can also use voice but I love this function.
It wafts along very quietly and is like a solid metal lump encases in rubber, just so well damped.
It is interesting that reviews on YouTube of early models have things like spare wheels. Mine doesn’t and I’m not going along with the repair goo r******. I bought a space saver and it fits if you take the repair goo holder out. Mind at rest.
Seriously love the sense of well-being that this car gives me. Wonderful
