Mercedes A class - car giant warrantee - toni balloni

Has anyone had any experience of the car giant warrantee??

I have just bought a Mercedes A class 2011 (61) and am wondering if it's worth the price of the car giant's own warrantee. Just in case it's a duff car?

Would be grateful to hear from anyone.

The car you have bought is 18 months old max. It will have the Mercedes warranty on it unless the car has not been correctly serviced. If this is the case run away, plenty of cars with the correct service history. If it has a full service history you do not need a 3rd party warranty. Remember that many manufacturers need receipts as well as stamps in a book since stanmps prove nothing (you can buy them on e-bay and manufacturers don't fall for that one).

MB use computerised service books. Call them with the reg and VIN number and see if it has ever been serviced by them.

If it has its still under warranty, if it hasn't and there is no other service record I hope the price reflected this fact.
