Jaguar XF 2.7 diesel 2008 - Timing belt replacement - mvmccroddan
Do I get my garage to replace the timing belt on my XF on its 75,000 service now rather than wait till I reach 105,000 miles? I maintain a full Jaguar warranty to 100,000 miles. The car has had a lot of cold starts in the first two years.

Better safe than sorry. Get it done! And speaking as an ex jaguar parts manager, make sure it is done by someone competent. Depending on where you are , there are some good jaguar independants around, but if you are maintaining the jaguar warranty take it to your dealer and negotiate.
