citroen c3 hdi 2002 - how do i change the glow plugs on my citroen c3 - jimbo999

hi i need to change the glow plugs i think on my c3 its really difficult to start recently and gives out white/grey diesel smeeling smoke on starting. they are at the back of the engine block do i need to take anything major off the top of the engine other than the air filter assembly?

I'll be honest,never done one in a Citrroen,plenty of Peug's though.

so advice is based on these,your right they're at the back of the head,obscured by the egr pipe system.not really that hard to remove,then you can see the g/plugs,12mm hex heads with the wire fastened with 8mm nuts.

be warned,these are really long plugs,very fine thread so go easy,if one binds,screw it back in,then back out.
