Honda 4 stroke GX270 Engine - 4 Stroke Engine Oil - starcott

I have a Honda 4 stroke engined generator and am in need of some engine oil.

The owner's guide recommends a 10W-30 4 stroke oil API SJ or later, but i have not

been able to obtain any locally.

I do have some fully synthetic 5W-30 and some semi-synthetic 10W-40, both are API SL

but are not designated as 4 stroke oils.

Would either of these be suitable for my needs?

Unless otherwise stated, engine oils are '4 stroke' (defferentiating from 2 stroke oil which is added to fuel). API SL supercedes API SJ and will be fine.
