Honda Jazz - Jazz a/c switch - Silversalmon

Hi everyone

I have a 2003 Jazz which has recently developed a small fault. The dashboard A/C switch no longer illuminates blue when it's turned on. I assume the small blue light is an LED, so is it a simple job of checking and replacing the fuse?

Thanks for any assistance on this niggling fault.

Possibly not so simple.Is the a/c working?may be difficult to tell in this current weather.Could be the bulb in switch failed but I would think that this would require new switch and removal of lower part of dash fascia.hth

Thanks for your reply. Yes the a/c is working to the best of my knowledge, i.e. if windscreen steams up without a/c on, pressing the switch quickly removes the condensation.

Admittedly it hasn't been re-gassed since new. Kwik-fit appear to have cheap prices for this, whether or not I should trust them is another thing...

I think I will check the fuse. Would the lower dash need to be removed to replace the bulb?
