VW any - VW VCDS what is different to VW own diag? - bk.bas
I think my 130PD PAssat is running a bit rough (as per other thread) and it has been suggested I get diagnostics run. However someone has told me that I should get a vcds rather than VW diag. Can someone explain to me the difference, why is one better than the other (surely VW should know how to diagnose their own faults). Who is likely to be able to offer a VCDS diag in Basingstoke or Bournemouth area's?

If you follow this link http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/74720-vag-com-diagnostic-system-vcds-owners-map/ there are people with VAG-COM & VCDS who would probably be willing to help.

It is a Skoda owners site but the Superb is basically a Passat with different clothes.

Pretty sure someone would help you.
