Ford Focus - Ford Focus Screen Heater Again - Trying To Focus

Hi, my heated front screen stopped working.

It's the single connector screen.

Put a meter across the connector, and got 3 ohms, which seems reasonable

Put a meter across the other half of the connector, and got zero volts.

The light comes on at the switch, but no heat. I noticed that the light will only come on with the engine running.

Can anybody diagnose? Anybody know a part number and/or a rough price for a replacement relay. If it's cheap I could try one, but I don't know if that's the problem.

The heated front screen draws a lot of current ,so will only work with engine running.(common to all ford models).I would check the fuses in the engine bay fuse box before getting involved with relays etc.hth
