2000 (W) 1.2 Corsa - Vauxhall Corsa won't start

2000 (W) 1.2 Corsa - Vauxhall Corsa won't start - wilko1807

Car won't start.

All 'normal' lights lit on dashboard, turn key and all we get is a clicking sound from engine.

Took battery out and re-charged - no effect, still won't start.

Battery is original in car - 10 years old, although still has green marker showing on top of battery.

Any ideas ?

Hello wilco,if the battery is ten years old i would start with a new battery first.

It could be the starter motor. Sometime the old method of rocking the car forwards and backwards in second gear may free it if it's jammed. Or get someone to help you and push-start it.
