Nissan Note 1.6SE (2007) - Cooling System - bradders_2

I`ve noticed a couple of times recently that after a fairly long run, water drips out onto the road below the radiator, presumably from the overflow pipe. Enough to form a small pool of water.

The radiator header/expansion tank is not overfilled and is near to but below the Max. mark. I have not had to top it up so It can`t be losing much water.

Do I need to do anything about this?

Are you sure it is coolant, not condensation water from the air conditioning. Regards Peter

Its from the AC condensor quite normal.A cooling system is pressurised and should never leak.

Thanks, I hadn`t thought of that. I had the AC on yesterday so It was probably that. I`ll check the car over to make sure.

its probably (as mentioned above) condensation from the A/C

I went to my local Vauxhall Dealer as I was passing to enquire about a service, and when I came back the Vectra had decided to dump A/C Condensation all over the car park (the one and only time its done this). i didnt know it at the time so I got one of the techs to come out - he gave it a quick check over, and sure enough thats what it was
