I unlock the door by pressing the unlock button on the I/Key, when I try to start the engine using the ignition knob, the Red "Key" signal comes on and I can't start the engine. If I then press the unlock door button on the key fob again, I can then start the engine but the Red "Key" signal flashes a few times and goes out until I park the car and have to restart it again. Is this a sign that the battery in the key fob needs replacing? The manual is not very clear about this. I have had the car 2.5 months. It is 5 years old. I have no problems locking or unlocking the car using the key fob.
