Aldi or Lidl have a motoring promotion which started on Thursday. I bought 2 90% increased power headlight bulbs on a BOGOF from Halfords = £10 each and they have transformed my night driving and have not blown - yet!

Local motor factor or an online supplier. Be prepared to buy more than you need and work from your stockholding when you need bulbs in the future.

I've bought bulbs from Wilkinson's recently. Reasonable prices. No problems to date.

I second that for Wilkinsons, also The Range if there is one near you.

I use my local factors - they always undercut Halfords, although my local Vauxhall dealer has surprisingly good prices for things like GM batteries and wiper blades.

I've also used this outfit a couple of times. Good prices and service :

Depends on your car - certain cars are very sensitive to OE bulbs being fitted, a pattern bulb can upset CANbus systems and cause false warnngs on failure indicators. BMW bikes need BMW bulbs - not a dealer conclusion but hard-bitten owner/users on user forums.
