|00 2.0 Immobiliser problem - crunch_time|
Been caught out twice now. If my car has been standing for a few days and I unlock via the driver's door but open another door first, the immobiliser kicks in and I have to (fully) lock the car and wait for some sort of timer to kick in and restore my access to a running engine. Around 20-30 minutes, I guess.
This doesn't happen when I've recently used the car, say shopping & opening the back.
Any ideas round this?
