99 1.8 Handrake not working (back drums) - stuartmc
Handbrake hasn't been working that well lately and also back wheels would seize sometimes when it's been parked for a few days in the rain.

So today I changed the back shoes (which were quite worn), but now the handbrake seems worse. I reckon the adjusters are OK (could hear them ratchet up when I first checked it) and the cables seem to run OK, so looking for some ideas. Footbrake working fine. If anything, slightly better since the job was done.

BTW, drums weren't in brilliant shape, though not scored just lipped at the edge.
