My son's Mk 1 Fiat Punto has an aftermarket Meritor sunroof that has started leaking. Before I get my garden hose out to start investigating can anyone confirm whether this type of "cassette" sunroof would have been fitted with drainage tubes or not?

No expert on aftermarket sunroofs but aren't they basically a metal frame with a rubber seal and a frameless sheet of glass? The glass presses against the rubber to form a watertight seal. If your son can do without the sunroof, then apply sealant all around the rubber and close the glass - forever!

I've had some success sealing similar by cleaning the glass and rubber, then applying a very light smear of silicone grease to the rubber.
