open service actions - almera-inthesky
Can anyone help with understanding a Ford Service History. I'm looking at a Mondeo's service history, and in the latest stamped entry there is a line
"open service actions completed"
It has been ticked "no".
What does this mean? I can't pursue the service history with the garage in question since it has gone bust.
cheers

To me that would mean that, when the car was serviced, some items were not done and/or faults were found that were not rectified at the time. Thus, "Open" service actions and a box ticked to say that they have NOT been cleared ie work is outstanding.
I think that Ford themselves might have the records on some central database. When my Pegeot dealer ceased trading, it was one of a number run by Midland Co-op, the records were maintained at HQ. Good luck!
