I need to find a 1.8k series engine Quick does anyone know if a Rover or MG engine is compatible. If so can i transfer the external bits from the LR to The Others

All 1.8 K series are the same - MG/Rover/Land Rover - I am not sure whether there are differences in the wiring looms though. I dont think so but it will be worth checking.

Do you need the full engine replacement? I am guessing the headgasket has gone and the engine has cooked - usually a head replacement is much quicker and cheaper than a full engine swap.
