Apart from "morellomax" , has anybody have experience of reducing road noise by using noise reduction kits from the likes of "Noise killer" or alternative DIY methods?
I know tyre types have a big influence and by using Michelins I have reduced the noise considerably, but being a picky old git , I want more!

I used a kit to sound insulate a Mark4 Fiesta... it was very successful. Ford had not enough insulation around the wheel arches/gearbox..

Very helpful - I collected .. as under 50 miles..
Easy to fit ...
The rear wheel arches bits made a substantial reduction in tyre noise...

What did they quote you for the Mark4 Fiesta sound insulation pack and how long did it take to fit ? Which parts of the car did you apply the insulation ?
I notice on the Noisekiller web site they say "Recommended and featured in: "Honest John" in the Daily Telegraph Motoring section". It would be interesting to hear what HJ has to say about this product.
