Hi all
My dad got his 1998, 1.4 Cordoba serviced at a local garage yesterday. Now the car idles at 2000 RPM rather than hovering around 1000.
Any idea what's going on there?

He's taking it back this afternoon. I just don't want him to be told it's something that it isn't and end up being charged loads due to something they may have done, mistakenly or not.
Found the garage on The Good Garage Scheme and they had decent feedback so i'm sure it's just a mistake or something.

Probably a loose breather pipe or something daft like that :).

Took it back and they said "yeah there's something wrong there" had a quick look around, plugged in their diagnostics thing in and then said "we don't know what's wrong, take it away for a few days, it might improve"
Great!
I'll get my dad to check this breather pipe out. Does anyone else have anything else to look at while he's in there?
