00 1.2 Sticking a rear window in - Northern Jeff
I have a Punto with a rattling rear window - the adhesive has failed in just one corner. What is the best substance to use to stick it in place again? I'm thinking of gently easing some epoxy resin into the gap and pressing it into place.

Hi Jeff, If it`s actually rattling and you can press it down in the corner, it sounds like there is a much bigger area of bonding failure. Why not pop into a glass place and let them re-bond the whole glass.

If it were mine, I would not want the remotest chance of it dropping out, perhaps in front of a bike.

proper windscreen mastic is available for £10 a tube from a factors
i always put it in a bucket of very hot water with the top cut off to let it breath before i apply it via a caulking gun
the best is sickaflex but in my opinion they have priced themselves out of the market as the last time i bought a tube of theirs cost me £18
