FIAT Punto (1994 - 1999) - 99 1.0 Rad fan change

99 1.0 Rad fan change - johnreeves
The radiator fan on my punto 60 is making a right racket when it kicks in. I am trying to replace it but cannot access the top left nut (when looking at front). Does anybody know what the pump is that is stopping me getting access ?

just carefully smash the fan off if its flubered
you might also care to do this on the bench with the radiator if this helps (you will need sidecuts to remove the factory clips though)
there is a small 10mm headed bolt that you undo from above the front bumper as you stand in front of the car ,you have to pull down the small windshield to get to it .
