hi,can anyone help,my engine runs noisy,sounds tiney/chokey for about 10 to 15 mis & then seems to settle down,any tips?or could it be just getting a bit old & to put up with it , had new spark plugs fitted & new oil & filter. thanks

first question will be what type of oil was fitted, second was the noise there before the oil change,Regards TB

hi,the noise was there before,& the oil was a standard oil at my local garage when it was in for the mot,i was just wondering what i could possibly check if anything at all.is it worth oiling the timing chain on accasions, as i heard they had problems with the oil feed. thanks again

there is a modified oil feed for these chains plus guides if you are going to fit them you may as well do the chain at the same time, the tapping may be a lazy liffter/tapet, thats why i asked about the oil quality/grade,Regards TB
