hi last night i was driving and smoke started coming from the dashboard. i had a look around and realised it was comin from the fuses under the steering wheel. i felt it to see if they were warm and one of the relays were boilin. it was all melted and the motherboard was sparking up. i had to kick it off before it went up in flames. i think this happened because of the demister, any ideas how to fix it? thanks

Yes, Its the orange relay (rear demister)normally on these.
They overheat and then the solder starts to melt on the connection between the relays circuit board and the pin that it plugs in with. Great design! I just soldered mine back together and its been ok for a year!
You may need to remake the connections to your relay with some bullet connectors, which will involve removing the fuse panel.
