Salesman's Commision?

Salesman's Commision? - ian s
I have recently bought a new Mercedes A140 Classic LWB for £12700 from a Mercedes dealer in Glasgow. I stay in Perth, but neither the Merc dealer in Perth or Dundee were willing to match the price.
Does anyone out there know how much a salesman's commission is on a new car and would the Glasgow salesman still have earned a decent commission on my sale?

I don't know the answer to your question, but I reckon if Mercedes UK finds out where you bought your car I reckon the dealer can expect a visit from the Mercedes 'suits'. They do not like dealers discounting their cars at all.
