That's a common misconception. Not for nothing is Steep Hill in Lincoln itself so called, and crossing the Lincolnshire Wolds would make that Messerschmidt wheeze!

Lincolnshires FENS are flat but the WOLDS are hilly.

I remember going in a bubble car when I was a child. I was intrigued how it could still steer when the steering wheel came out with the door!
