03 1.9 oil leak and blue smoke from dipstick. - wesdav
I have had a steady oil leak resulting in oil over the drive. I took car to a mechanic firend who had a brief look and said the engine pressure was high as when he removed the oil cap blue smoke came out at pressure- the same when dipstick removed.

He suggested this was blocked pipes or the piston rings which would mean a whole new engine.

ANyone have any idea what this may be or had similar problems?

Try clearing the breathers and treat it to a oil & filter change.

Is this very high mileage? good service history? it should do years yet before you have to strip it.

Was this the model that sprayed fuel directly onto the cylinder walls and wore them out rapidly??
