Ford Focus II (2004 - 2007) - 2006 1.6 TDCi fuel line - under bonnet

2006 1.6 TDCi fuel line - under bonnet - lordbinbag
Can someone please help me identify the 'ingoing' fuel line to the engine under the bonnet of a ford focus 1.6 TDCi?

The 'in' and 'out' line are near identical and close together and I can't see any labelling to help me. So if you know which one is the 'in' line to the engine - perhaps you have picture or diagram I can look at - I'd really appreciate it.

taking part in experiment and a device needs to be attached to the correct line.
sadly no available mechanics to help us - low budget student thing!

Oh no; not the dreaded magnets again...

The feed line should have a priming bulb in it IIRC.
